Snowcem Plus Cement Paint

Snowcem Plus is a white Portland cement-based premium waterproof cement paint. It can be applied on concrete surfaces, wall/fiberboards, asbestos cement sheets, cement/lime/sand renderings, rough cast & pebbledash, bricks, concrete blocks, and decorative precast units.

Mix equal volumes of Snowcem Plus powder and fresh clean water (1:1 ratio by volume) in a clean container and stir well. No further dilution or two-stage mixing is required.

Coverage varies depending on substrate texture and porosity: • In-situ Concrete: 64–81 sq. ft./kg • Wall & Fiberboards: 55–90 sq. ft./kg • Rendering Cement/Sand: 44–64 sq. ft./kg • Suitable Brickwork: 36.2–64 sq. ft./kg • Concrete Blocks: 35.2–60 sq. ft./kg • Rough Cast & Pebbledash: 22–36 sq. ft./kg

Step 1: Pre-wet the surface with clean water and wait 30 minutes. Step 2: Apply 1 coat of Cemprover Cement Primer (if applicable, dry for 6–8 hours). Step 3: Apply the 1st coat of Snowcem Plus. Step 4: Wait 12–18 hours, then fine spray water to cure the 1st coat. Step 5: Apply the 2nd coat of Snowcem Plus. Step 6: Wait 12–18 hours, then perform 1 or 2 water cures with a fine spray to allow complete setting.

Snowcem Plus cannot be applied directly over surfaces containing gypsum plaster, chunam, lime wash, oil paint, varnish, oil-bound distemper, or emulsion paints. For chunam/lime wash, remove the old coating completely with a wire brush, wash down, and prime with Cemprover before painting.

Yes, proper water curing with a fine water spray after the 1st and 2nd coats is required for the paint to gain full strength and prevent flaking. Do NOT use saline water for curing.
