With a presence across all Snowcem manufacturing locations-Sinnar (Maharashtra), Gotan (Rajasthan), and Gummidipoondi (Tamil Nadu) -the R&D team plays a vital role in ensuring product consistency, developing new formulations, enhancing existing product performance, and optimising processes to reduce wastage while maximising efficiency.

Speaking about Snowcem's offerings, Digamber Singh, General Manager - Manufacturing at Snowcem Paints, said, "Snowcem manufactures a wide range of emulsions and coatings. Offering true value for money, we provide a comprehensive range backed by robust systems and processes. Our certifications-ISO 14001 for Environmental Management, ISO 9001 for Quality Management, and ISO 45001 for Occupational Health & Safety-validate our commitment. We are also annual members of the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) issued by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)."

Highlighting continuous upgrades, Singh added, "To align with industry best practices, our R&D team has invested in advanced equipment such as the Wet Scrub Tester and Automatic Film Applicator. We have also installed a new smart tinting machine sourced from leading players, offering higher accuracy and faster response times. Today, we maintain a database of nearly 300,000 shades across interior and exterior ranges, enabling quicker market support for our sales and dealer teams."

Maintaining superior quality is a continuous and disciplined effort driven by feedback and corrective action. Quality complaints are systematically analysed, with initiatives such as single master batches across plants, retention of first and last filled containers, first-time-right batch monitoring, and comprehensive finished goods audits ensuring consistent quality.
