Snowcem Ext-Int Primer

Snowcem EXT/INT Primer is a water-based acrylic emulsion wall coating designed as an undercoat for both interior and exterior emulsions. It provides excellent opacity, whiteness, topcoat adhesion, and prevents the peeling off of emulsion paints.

Dilute 1 liter of primer with 500 ml of clean potable water. Do not over-dilute, use thinners, or add colorants/stainers. Once thinned, the paint should be used within 24 hours.

It offers an approximate coverage of 120 to 140 sq. ft. per liter per coat on smooth, non-porous surfaces. Available container sizes are 1 L, 4 L, 10 L, 20 L, and 26 L.

It becomes touch dry in 30 minutes, with a hard dry time of 4 to 6 hours. The recommended recoating interval is 4 to 6 hours.

Step 1: Sand the plaster surface using 180 emery paper and wipe clean. Step 2: Apply 1 coat of Snowcem EXT/INT Primer and allow 4–6 hours drying time. Step 3: Apply Snowcare Wall Putty (2 coats, overnight drying). Step 4: Apply a 2nd coat of Snowcem EXT/INT Primer (allow 4–6 hours drying time). Step 5: Apply 2 coats of topcoat exterior or interior emulsion paint.

New masonry surfaces must be allowed to cure completely for at least 28 days. Clean dust, oil, and loose particles thoroughly. For algal or fungal growth, wash with Snowcem Bio-Wash before applying primer. Fill cracks up to 3mm using Snowcare Wall Putty or a 1:3 mix of White Cement and fine sand.

Yes, it satisfies GRIHA and LEED Green Building parameters. It contains low VOC levels (< 40 g/L / 13%) and is free from lead, mercury, chromium (VI), cadmium, formaldehyde, benzene, and phenolic compounds.

It has a shelf life of 3 years when stored in airtight containers in a cool, dry place.
