Snowpearl Primer

Snowpearl Interior Primer is an acrylic co-polymer water-based undercoat designed exclusively for interior walls. It serves as a sealing and priming coat for both old and new plastered surfaces before applying interior finish coats.

Dilute 1 liter of primer with 500 ml of clean potable water. Do not over-dilute, use thinners, or add colorants/stainers. Thinned primer must be used within 24 hours.

On smooth, non-suction surfaces, it covers approximately 150 to 170 sq. ft. per liter per coat. Available pack sizes are 1 L, 4 L, 10 L, and 20 L containers.

It becomes touch dry in 20 minutes, with a hard dry time of 4 to 6 hours. The recommended recoating interval is 4 to 6 hours.

Step 1: Sand the plaster surface with 180 emery paper and wipe clean. Step 2: Apply 1 coat of Snowpearl Interior Primer and allow 4–6 hours drying time. Step 3: Apply Snowcare Wall Putty (2 coats, overnight drying). Step 4: Apply a 2nd coat of Snowpearl Interior Primer (allow 4–6 hours drying time). Step 5: Apply 2 coats of topcoat interior emulsion paint.

Fresh plaster must cure completely for at least 28 days. Ensure the surface is free of dust, oil, grease, or powdery residue. Fill cracks up to 3mm using Snowcare Wall Putty or a 1:3 mix of White Cement and fine sand.

Yes, it qualifies for GRIHA and LEED Green Building criteria. It contains low VOCs (< 40 g/L / 13%) and is free from toxic heavy metals (lead, chromium VI, cadmium, mercury) and hazardous chemicals (formaldehyde, benzene, phenolic compounds).

It has a shelf life of 3 years when stored in airtight containers in a cool, dry place.
